What Jesus Said About Fathers and Mothers Causing Spiritual Woundsಮಾದರಿ
Fathers and mothers who inflict wounds
Addicted fathers/mothers
Children must often take care of such fathers and mothers and take responsibility for things they are not ready for; they experience no feeling of safety or being cared for. Such children will not experience a sense of security and being cared for. They will carry these feelings over to their relationship with God and find it challenging to think God will protect, provide, and care for them.
A story: A scrubby little rogue: He is one of the most hated people in human history, and nothing can justify his unspeakably tragic actions. He was the son of a customs inspection officer with a drinking problem. His mother took him to church, where he sang in the choir and even considered becoming a priest. Beatings and arguments were common.
His sister Paula wrote: "He challenged my father to extreme harshness and… got his sound thrashing every day. He was a scrubby little rogue." One night, he decided to run away. He tried to squeeze through a barred window. Hearing his father's footsteps, he hastily withdrew, draping his nakedness with a tablecloth. This time, his father did not whip him. He burst into laughter and shouted to his mother to come up and look at the "toga boy." The boy was Adolf Hitler. Something must have happened to young Adolf at this point. What a price the world paid due to an abusive and humiliating father!
