Wounded Women: Allowing God to Lead You on Your Healing Journeyಮಾದರಿ
Day Four: Put This Plan Into Practice
As you partner with God on your healing journey, keep in mind that although our life experiences have defined us for far too long, we do not have to believe the false narratives about ourselves any longer. We do not have to practice the habits that no longer serve us in the season we are in or the season God is inviting us into. We no longer have to second-guess our decisions when God orders our steps.
When we put God back in his rightful place in our lives, we are choosing to acknowledge our life experiences, learn from them, and allow them to serve as stepping stones as we become the women God has predestined us to be.
May you abide in the Lord on your journey toward healing and wholeness.
Complete this Activity: Speak Life and Biblical Truth to Your Younger Self
Materials Needed:
- Find a picture of yourself as a child or young teenager.
Instructions:
- Reflect on Your Younger Self: Take a moment to gaze at the picture of your younger self. Observe the innocence, hopes, and dreams in that young person's eyes. Invite the Holy Spirit into this moment.
- Speak Life and Truth: Speak directly to your younger self. Speak words of love, affirmation, and biblical truth over her. Consider using verses from the Bible that reflect God's love and purpose for you.
- Embrace Forgiveness & Express Thanksgiving: If there are wounds or regrets from your past that need healing, take this time to release them to God and ask for his forgiveness.
YOUR NEXT STEPS: You have completed the 4-day Wounded Woman plan. If you want to go deeper into your healing and spiritual growth journey, I invite you to attend my new training, Seasons of Life, which introduces you to a biblical approach to personal development. About this Plan
After reading a heavy topic in the book, "Captivating", by John & Stasi Eldredge, A. Margot Blair emphasizes the need for women to invite God into their healing journey. In this 4-day plan, A. Margot discusses God’s grace and loving embrace for women who have been wounded and how to declare biblical truth over the parts of you that are still wounded.
