God's Reaction to Your Action
Yesterday I told you how God encouraged me on the morning of a big decision with the story of Simon, who Jesus told to try one more time. Today I want to go back to that because it's important that you TRUST when God speaks to you.
There they were, the words I didn't expect, "Master, we worked hard all night and caught nothing…” (Luke 5:5 NIV)
I had just opened my devotional book after saying to God, "I need an answer from You TODAY, because TODAY I need to give my answer to something that will greatly affect my life."
I had already invested time and strength and I did not want to try again, but now a possibility had offered itself to me to contribute to my miracle one more time, and to possibly experience how it could become true. Where would I find the confirmation that it would be worth it for me?
Even Simon, who had tried all night to catch at least a few fish, was surely frustrated: "Jesus, I'm tired! That was exhausting! Do I really have to go out there again?" That's rather how I sounded at that moment when Jesus—through my devotional book—spoke to me.
You see, when we ask God for something, He doesn’t often respond with a loud voice from heaven. More often, God speaks softly in response to our action! In my case, the action was to open my devotional book, and God's response was to speak to me through it, through just the right verse.
But if this is true, then you have to believe what you're reading! When you believe what you read, you experience your victory! Let these words really enter your heart :-), because that's exactly how it works!
Simon decided, "...Because You say so, I will let down the nets." (Luke 5:5 NIV) Did Simon doubt the result of his obedience? Possibly, but he decided to trust in spite of his doubts!
Will you ask God for an answer today, open His Word and BELIEVE the answer you are reading? God is speaking to you.
You are a miracle!

About this Plan
There are days in our lives when we may not feel God’s presence, and the enemy will try to convince us that He is not there. But, those lies could not be more wrong! God sees us every day, and cares about everything we walk through. Are you ready to be encouraged and focus on how you, a miracle, are seen by God?
