A Confident Mom

DAY 7 OF 7

God Is for You!

Whether we are moms of littles or bigs, children who were birthed with our bodies or birthed in our hearts through love and prayers, our worth is beyond measure! Our role is beyond description. What we do every day matters—so much more than we may ever know!

We are a safe place to come home to. We are a soft place to land when life knocks our kids down. We are the cheerleader they need and the coach they avoid. We are the person they want when they are sick or feel lost. We are heart-shapers, memory-makers, purpose-instillers, boundary-setters, prayer-warriors, and dream-encouragers.

God has prepared you for the struggles you face, just as He prepared Joshua. When circumstances feel like more than you can handle, make a list of life experiences and skills you have and ask the Lord to help you think of ways you can use them with your children.

As we finish this week’s devotional, here is one last thing I want you to remember: you are an overcomer and more than a conqueror. You’re a child of the one true King who delights in you! Jesus is for you, and He is with you. When days get hard, press on, mom, and have hope because God is faithful. Because you are His and He is yours, you’ve got everything you need to become a confident mom.

I’m cheering you on, praying you forward, and believing for you, mama! You are loved and held by a strong, good, loving God who promises that you can do all the hard things through Christ, who gives you strength (Philippians 4:13). His presence is with you, His promises are for you, and His power is in you.

Lord, I pray You would keep inspiring me and reminding me to carve out time to focus on what matters most: discovering and developing who You created my children to be by noticing and nurturing Your character qualities in them. I want to become a confident mom in Christ through my dependence on Your love for me. When I doubt that I have what it takes, help me recognize the source of my uncertainty and bring it all to You. I want to acknowledge and rely on You every day, trusting You to help me navigate the hard parts of parenting, holding tight to Your promises. Amen.
