We Were Sexual Before We Were Sinfulಮಾದರಿ
Living with a Biblical Sexual Ethic
Living with a biblical sexual ethic acknowledges that God created you in His image, including your sexuality. Therefore, your sexuality has an intended purpose of glorifying and making known the Creator.
Often throughout our Christian walk, we need to ask ourselves whether or not our actions and beliefs are deepening our relationship with our Heavenly Father. For example, is living with a biblical sexual ethic possible? The answer is found in how fondly God views you. He says that you are chosen, holy and beloved, saint, filled with the Holy Spirit, empowered to do good works. Has it ever occurred to you that God has faith in you? He believes in you. He has transformed you.
And let’s be honest, there are going to be times where we may fail. In our struggle against sin, there will be times of discouragement. There will be times where shame threatens to take over your identity. But remember the soothing words of Jesus, “Let your hearts not be troubled…[the Father] will give you another Helper, to be with you forever...You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you” (John 14). Even in your most sinful, shame-inducing moments, God is ever so near you, continuing to love and transform you.

About this Plan
You have been written into a wonderful story. God’s story is one that includes Creation, Fall, Redemption, and Restoration. However, our conversations surrounding sex often focus on the fall - in reality, we were sexual before we were sinful! In this plan, we'll look at what scripture says about God's creation and design for sex.
