Living in the Goodness of Godಮಾದರಿ
“Cause Your goodness is running after, it’s running after me. Your goodness is running after, it’s running after me. With my life laid down, I’m surrendered now. I give You everything. Cause Your goodness is running after, it’s running after me.”
Do you know the truth?
God’s goodness sometimes feels far away in our world full of sin, evil and brokenness. We often focus on the cup being half empty rather than half full, then a spirit of bitterness and resentment arises. Instead of celebration, we complain. And instead of praise, we protest. We all fall into this pattern, although we don’t always like to admit it. God begins to feel far away as His goodness becomes a distant memory.
But, do you know the truth? The truth of Psalm 23:6 that His goodness and love follow you all the days of your life? God’s goodness is not only present in your life, it’s running after you. And even more notable, perhaps, is the truth that His goodness follows us ALL the days of our lives. We serve a good God who wants to bless His children with good gifts. When we spend a moment to recognize this and truly see the way that the Lord pursues us, we can focus our eyes on the truth.
Take a moment to surrender to the Lord today alongside “Goodness of God”.
Lord, I recognize that Your goodness is running after me all the days of my life. Thank you for Your love Lord.
“Cause Your goodness is running after, it’s running after me. Your goodness is running after, it’s running after me.”
I surrender to You in this very moment. All I am is because of You and everything good I receive is a gift from You, the greatest being Your life on the cross.
“With my life laid down, I’m surrendered now. I give You everything.”
Thank you, God that Your love pursues always. I love You and I pray that today You help focus my eyes on Your goodness.
“Cause Your goodness is running after, it’s running after me.”
AMEN
