Break Trailಮಾದರಿ
Learning to share is tough. Think about it for a second. You have something you want , maybe you really want it, and now someone wants some of what you have. Maybe they even need what you have. What do you do? Well, if you’re a normal human being, you probably start thinking through what it took you to get your precious item, especially if food is involved. Now, not only are you refusing to share your item, but you’re trying to figure out how to get a spare “just in case.”
Learning to give is even harder. When we give something away, we’re giving up all rights to it. Giving something we love to someone we believe doesn't deserve it or won't appreciate it is love on a whole new level. While dying on the cross, Jesus decided to give even more. While people made fun of him and took his clothes, a man hanging on a cross next to Jesus asked for forgiveness. What did Jesus do? He gave him eternal hope. What's more, Jesus extended forgiveness to the entire crowd.
What does it look like to live a life full of hope?

About this Plan
If you're a hiker, you know a trail-breaker is someone who walks ahead, makes a new way, and invites others to follow. That's exactly what Jesus did for us. He broke a new trail with his birth, his life, his teachings, and then with his death and resurrection. In this 30-day devotional series designed for Lent, we’ll see how Jesus showed us a new way of living and knowing God.
