How to Stop Self-Sabotaging Your Succesಮಾದರಿ
Stopping self-sabotage forever:
Leave margin for the unexpected
Again, as a person who likes to get things done, you can quickly feel disappointed and eager to give up when LIFE gets in the way of your plans. When a child runs a fever, and you stay up all night, causing you to have no energy to attend your planned morning gym session, you can get frustrated.
If you had a deadline for your manuscript, but your work schedule has been so busy that you are already a month overdue, you might want to throw in the towel and entertain thoughts like: "I will never complete this; it is a waste of time."
So, the list of examples is endless. But if you make a slight adjustment to how you view life and goals, it will be a game-changer. Leave some room for the unexpected. Life always throws a few curveballs, which makes it exciting, and that is precisely when God steps onto the scene. Have faith that if you keep on being committed, the dream shall come to pass. Some of your most significant victories and breakthrough will happen on days that nothing extraordinary was planned in your diary. Remember that Heaven has an appointed time for things to happen. That which might look like a great distraction could even be a divine strategy of God to bring you towards the BEST plan for your life.
Stop self-sabotaging. You were born for such a time, and the world needs your gift. Unearth it, develop it, and then allow God to use it for His Glory.
Remember: We overestimate what we can do in a day or a week, but we underestimate what we can get done in a month or a year. Stick at it.
Reflect in Prayer
Wow, Lord! I am in awe of the wonderful change that you have brought about within me. Thank you that my best days are ahead, me. The struggle is not real. The struggle is OVER since I am your child and You have already made a way for me. Amen
