WATER INTO WINE
Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. (John 3:5)
The Old Testament tells that God created everything by speaking His Word. God’s Word is His voice or His word. The word of God represents God Himself. From the New Testament we learn that The Word became flesh, which means God came down to the earth to be a man, Jesus Christ.
Jesus came to this earth so that we believe in God through the works that Jesus did—so we would believe in the Word of God. John wrote about the first miracle Jesus did: turning water into wine. The definition of miracle is something that happens outside of human sense. Can you imagine how a man could change water into the best wine?
In this story of water changing into wine, we learn that miracles can happen, even in our family‘s life or our own. God desires to give his best to you.
When the servant of the house poured the water into the pot, miraculously the water changed into the best wine. Water represents the word of God and the Holy Spirit, while the pot represents our heart and mind. When the Word of God and the Holy Spirit fill our hearts and mind, then the best miracle from God will surely happen for those who believe.
We can enjoy the miracle and joy of God when we do His Words.
