No Mountain Too Big
1 Corinthians 13:2
I may have faith so great that I can move mountains.
Story
There was a man named Caleb. He and Joshua were the only two out of the 12 spies who assured the Israelites that they would be able to take over the Promised Land. Because Caleb followed God wholeheartedly, God promised him that the land on which his feet had walked would be his and his children’s inheritance forever.
Forty-five years later, when Caleb was 85 years old, He told Joshua that he wanted to take over the hill country of Hebron. That time, the Anakites lived there and the Anakites were big, gigantic people. Caleb said that he was still as strong as when Moses sent him as a spy 45 years before and he wasn’t afraid of the Anakites because he believed that God was with him and He would help him. God really helped Caleb take over Hebron and drive out the Anakites from there. From then on, Hebron had belonged to Caleb and his family.
Do you feel like you are facing a big mountain that makes you feel so small? It might be a mountain of problem or struggle you are facing. Fill your heart with God’s word and promises, and then when you look at your mountain, suddenly it won’t look so big anymore. You know that you can overcome it because you believe that God is with you and He will help you. No mountains are too big for your GREAT GOD.
Prayer
Dear God, You are bigger than any mountain in my life. My faith is in You, and I believe You will help me overcome it. Amen.
