STATIONS OF THE CROSS - EASTER PLANಮಾದರಿ
JESUS FALLS THE FIRST TIME I
It's easy to imagine Jesus falling with the tremendous weight of the world's sin on His shoulder. It was our sin that ripped and tore and crushed Him. Jesus was wounded by our transgressions. Nails pierced His hands and feet, and thorns cut into His head.
Jesus, the righteous and blameless servant, took the ultimate punishment for our rebellion, our iniquities, our sinful nature. His death was vicarious, meaning that He died as a substitute for humanity. His death on the cross paid for our sins so that we could be reconciled to God.
It takes humility to admit that it was our sin that was laid on Jesus and that He mercifully took the punishment that we deserved. We are all sinners, and we all need Jesus, our Savior.
