Brave: Experiencing God In The Waitingಮಾದರಿ
The year 2017 was one of the worst and absolute best years of my life. I had started the year struggling, so unsure of who I was but also who God was. In the journey, I found all these things that you may be struggling with or reaching for also. I found freedom, acceptance, love, joy and community. So, dear one, please hear me when I say I know your struggles, because they have been my struggles. I am here to encourage you and to fight for you. Allow the Lord to change your heart. Allow him to make you BRAVE. Trust me you will not regret it!
Time and time again the Bible tells us of the brave. “Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6 The brave that we ask for may look different from the brave that someone else is asking for, but it is all the same. Never will he leave us, never will he forsake us. He will do incredible things in you and through you when you allow him to have your season.
Are you ready to be brave? Are you ready to embrace God’s love, to let go, to find community and joy? God is so proud of you and so excited for you to lean in and trust him. Run into our Father’s arms for He is waiting for you. He is ready to begin this new journey with you. A journey so full of Him and full of joy and excitement.
I encourage you to take a walk, or go sit by yourself somewhere quiet. Ask yourself this question. “Am I Brave? Am I allowing the Lord to work in my season of singleness?” Once you answer these questions, start communing with the Lord. Tell Him that you are ready to be brave. Ask Him to show you how to look for the joy.
Then be still and wait. Lean in and listen for His whisper.
About this Plan
Being in a season of waiting can feel overwhelming and purposeless. However, because of Gods love we can find bravery, courage and hope in the midst of it all. You can discover that the wait has a divine purpose. When you lay it all down and surrender, you learn that you are braver than what you once thought you were.
