Moses, a Man of God's Powerគំរូ
Introduction - God’s Supernatural Power
After listening to many non-believers explain that they could not believe the words of the Bible because it was written by “mere men,” the Lord laid it very strongly on my heart to write about those very men that He chose to do His work through and also inspire the words on the pages of the handbook He has given us to live by.
If we view these men as merely physical, as clueless people who woke up one day and decided to write nonsense, then it makes sense to disregard these books as merely “man written.” However, when we study their lives, we discover how God moved through them — and we see a very different picture. We see supernatural signs and wonders done through them. We see committed, non-conforming men that were doing God’s work in their lives in total dedication to their Lord.
The men that wrote the Bible and had signs and wonders evidenced in their lives were hand-chosen because their hearts were pure, their spirits were open, and they were malleable vessels that God could use to speak through. When we understand this, we see that the words in the Bible were not just thought up one day on a whim, but absolutely given and inspired by Almighty God and thus, cannot be dismissed lightly and then ignored.
God is God of the supernatural above the natural – the supernatural being the original realm. These men – some who did not author a book but had books written about them – allowed God’s supernatural power to work through them.
Contrary to what society tells us, humans do not have a “hero” within us. The very breath we breathe is God-given. Any power we feel comes from Him. My goal with this devotion is to show beyond a shadow of a doubt that there is an unequivocal supernatural power that can flow through anyone that surrenders their life to it, humbles their will to His and obeys the orders He gives.
These men are chosen, set apart, specially picked by God to be vessels of His incredible power on the earth. Each of these men fit into God’s perfect plan, as can we.
Therefore, holy brothers and sisters, who share in the heavenly calling, fix your thoughts on Jesus, whom we acknowledge as our apostle and high priest. (Hebrews 3:1)

Moses is credited with writing the first five books of the Bible, and manifesting some of the greatest miracles ever recorded during his lifetime. This devotional is the first in a series that explores the characteristics of powerful, biblical men that God used to not only write down His words but also to exhibit His very power on the earth. This plan was written by April Knoke.
