My name is Giovani, a Christian Latin Urban Artist in Florida. I once pursued fame as a secular artist, but by God’s grace, I now use my music to share His love. My journey has been anything but smooth, but it’s one I thank God for every day.

In 2014, I encountered Jesus and accepted Him as my Savior. By 2015, I was chasing a career in music, gaining local fame and even meeting with major record labels. But in 2019, my life unraveled—I lost my father-in-law, suffered a back injury, and underwent two surgeries. In that season, God revealed how far I had drifted. I was so focused on success that I neglected my family and faith, thinking I could do it all on my own.

Then, my dad—a lifelong musician—announced he was leaving our band to sing Christian music. At first, I didn’t understand, but his passion sparked something in me. I wrote my first Christian song with him, performed it at a Latin Music Awards show, and announced I was leaving secular music for good. That decision changed my life.

I’ve learned that salvation is a journey, not a one-time event (Philippians 2:12). I leaned on my own understanding, holding onto music as my own. But Proverbs 3:5 reminds us to trust God completely. When I finally surrendered my gift, He transformed it into a tool for His glory.
