Confidence in the Gospel // Gospel X - Multiplying the MessageSample
Jesus Christ died for us, he died for you.
God, the Father, sent His only son and sacrificed Him, so you can be saved. Isn’t this extraordinary?
Jesus was with God; He reigned with his Father and then He humbled himself by becoming human and dying for your trespasses. He died so you can have a relationship again with the Father in heaven. He died to put away your shame. He died so you can live freely without fear. What is better news than this?
The gospel is the Good News about God opening a way for us to be reconciled with Him. The separation between God and humans is restored and once more, and you are able to have an intimate relationship with God, as Adam and Eve experienced it. You now have the possibility to address God directly. You do not need a mediator anymore like the priests of the Israelites. Upon Jesus' death, “the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom” (Matt 27.51). In other words, open access to the holy of holies was established. The service of the priests was not needed anymore; Jesus, through his sacrifice, paid the price for your wrongdoings. The emptiness in your heart, the longing to fill it, can now be finally filled again: with a relationship with God, our heavenly Father. This alone can fill your heart once and for all. Restoring this relationship with God feels like a “coming home”, a “having arrived”.
Have you given your heart to Jesus?
Are you still looking to fill the void in your heart?
Ask God to come and fill your heart, to take in every corner of your heart. He will meet your desires. This does not mean that God does everything you desire; He wants the best for you and He knows you better than you know yourself. In accordance with His Will for you, He will give you exactly what you need. He is the Good News for you and He is also the Good News for everyone else.
He loves you and wants to have a relationship with you.

About this Plan
Jesus left the church the vision of a movement when he challenged us to reproduce from our own Jerusalem into “Judea, Samaria and the end of the earth.” (Acts 1:8). For us to see a movement, we need every Christ follower to adopt Jesus' personal mission to “seek and save the lost.” (Luke 19:10). Evangelism is core to the mission of Jesus and essential to accomplishing his vision. In this reading plan we will explore why is worth to be shared.
