Having a Great AttitudeSample
Be a Giver
As we conclude this bible plan on cultivating a great attitude, let's focus on one final key principle: embodying a spirit of giving rather than taking. Luke 6:38 reminds us, "Give, and it will be given to you—a good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be poured into your lap." This verse highlights the powerful truth that generosity and a giving attitude bring favor and abundance into our lives. By embracing a giving mindset, we not only positively impact others but also transform our own attitudes. Forgiving others, releasing bitterness, and focusing on sowing righteousness reflect this giving spirit, allowing us to cultivate a positive and uplifting demeanor.
In addition to being a giver, it's important to overlook offenses and avoid being bogged down by past hurts. Ecclesiastes 7:21-22 encourages us to not fixate on every word people say but to remember that we too have faltered. By choosing to overlook offenses and focus on the future, we can maintain a positive outlook and bear much fruit. As Galatians 5:22-23 describes, the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control—manifests in our lives when we embrace a giving attitude. This bible plan encourages you to nurture these traits and let them transform your life and relationships. Remember, being a giver involves setting healthy boundaries as needed and not enabling negative behaviors. Embrace the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and let your life overflow with positivity and the fruit of the Spirit.
Closing Prayer: Heavenly Father, as we conclude this plan on developing a great attitude, we thank You for the wisdom and guidance You have provided. Help us to embody a spirit of giving rather than taking, reflecting Your love and grace in all that we do. Teach us to overlook offenses and to focus on sowing righteousness in our relationships and daily lives. May Your Spirit cultivate in us the fruit of love, joy, peace, and all the virtues that glorify You. Empower us to be positive influences in the world, sharing the abundance of Your grace with others. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.
