Motivation–Finding Your "It"

DAY 4 OF 4

Make an Impact

As followers of Jesus, we understand that our time on Earth is short and serves to prepare us for our life after we leave. We are living on borrowed time. For some, they may view this as morbid and negative. For myself, I view this differently. While you are here on Earth, God wants you to make an impact. He wants you to reach out and touch the hearts of other people. How we choose to do this is our “it.” While you are here, it is up to you to find your “it,” and, as a leader of a household, a classroom, an office, or a community, it will be up to you to help others find their “it” as well. Get to know those who are around you. Find out what makes them tick. What they enjoy. What their skills are. Sometimes the “its” of others will complement yours, and by working in unison, you will be able to accomplish much more than by being apart. To lead is to serve, and by serving those around you, they will look up to you.

Help others, and allow the Lord to help you in the pursuit of your “it.”

In what environment do you feel that you could best assist and reach others? Are you helping others efficiently currently through usage of your “it"?

Day 3

About this Plan

Motivation–Finding Your "It"

One of the many beautiful things in life is the fact that God made every individual on Earth in his image, yet also managed to make sure that no two people are exactly alike. God has given you a unique purpose, which I like to refer to as your “it.” In this plan, we will go over this concept of finding your “it” and using it to benefit the world.
