Bright Lights, Big CitySample
The quickest thing that can dim our light? Fear! Whether it’s fear of circumstances around us, fear of what may happen in the future, or just fear of being the person God made us to be, that fear can feel powerful when we face it. The good news? We can remember God’s promises in Scripture to remind us we’re not doing it alone. When we find ourselves feeling afraid, we can remember that God is always with us. That presence is our ultimate source of strength, power, and light in every moment—but especially in the moments when we’re afraid. Even if you feel like you’re up against impossible circumstances, help is no further than your next breath because God is always near.
This week, memorize this verse. Let it serve as your reminder of the God whose light is always shining over your fears.
