Have you ever walked into a dark room, and the shadows made everything look creepy? Once you turned on the light, you probably gained a lot more confidence in the space you were in. That’s because perspective can change everything. Everything looks different in the light. Jesus tells us that our eyes are the lamps of our bodies. It’s a strange way to say that how we see the world is important. When we see it through our lens, it may feel unclear, scary, or even overwhelming at times. But when we see it through the lens of God, everything becomes clear. Then, our whole perspective changes!

Today, take time to ask God to help you see the world through the lens of God’s light. Pray that you will have that perspective as you move through this week.
