DAY 11 OF 15

Have you ever faced a challenge that made you want to give up? Maybe you couldn’t pass an exam in college, struggled through a chronic illness, or got laid off from your job. Obstacles like that feel nearly impossible to overcome while we’re in the midst of them. They can make us question just about everything, including God’s hand in all of it! When things like that happen, remember this truth: God has a plan for your life.

When you face circumstances that make you want to give up, it’s important to keep this truth in your mind. With it, you can change your perspective. You can look for God still working for good in your life even when it’s hard to see it. You can choose to trust God’s plan for your life—the plan that never fails or gives up on you! Today, take some time to think about a challenge you’re facing. Each time you are reminded of that challenge, choose to remember the truth that God is working for your good through it. To do that, memorize this verse. Let it be the first thing you think about or pray about when you encounter that challenge. Let it be the motivation you need to not give up!

About this Plan

Press On

When we face struggles, we’re told to persevere. It’s actually easier said than done. Pressing on and persevering under the weight of hard times in life is not so simple. We have to learn how to press on just the way God calls us to. In this devotional, we’ll look at what it really means to follow God’s call to press on in our lives and in our faith.
