How does Hosea describe Israel's punishment (verses 1-6)? What has brought about this punishment? As a prophet, how is Hosea being treated (verses 7-9)? What consequences will occur because of the people's unfaithfulness?

Holy God, faithfulness to you is what you ask. Keep me strong in faith and grounded in your Word. In your holy name, I pray. Amen.
