Faith & Love: A One Year Bible Reading Plan - Part 5ნიმუში

When you read a passage like Matthew 21:21-22 where Jesus speaks about having faith that can move a mountain, does it inspire you, or does it make you feel inadequate?
Many of us struggle to trust God to accomplish great things, like moving a mountain, for instance. As a result, we feel inferior to other believers or even guilty for our lack of faith.
The problem, however, is one of focus.
We tend to make our faith the focus or thing we should work on. Instead, we should make God the focus.
The question is: Do you have big faith in God, or do you have faith in a big God?
What if in the conversation of faith, you focussed less on yourself and your ability to have faith and more on God and what he is able to do? What if it is less about OUR faith and more about the object of our faith?
Big faith should not be your aim. Knowing you have a Big God is what faith is all about.
