The Purpose of Healing

DAY 3 OF 5

God is the healer of souls. He knows your hurt and your pain. He knows all you have been through. He did not cause it, but he can use it and he can use you as a vessel. Many times things we go through leave us feeling lost, lonely and dejected.

I want you to remember that Christ suffered and died for us. We do not serve a God who doesn’t know about hurt, pain, deception, betrayal, or rejection. We serve a God who can not only sympathize with us but has walked this earth and knows what we go through.

God did not say that we would not have trouble. He told us we would, but he also told us to take heart because he has overcome the world.

He was the sacrificial lamb that paid the ultimate price for us. He conquered death and hell and then he rose again. We serve a risen King.

He said that we can cast our cares on him because he cares. He said we can come to him tired and burdened, in other words, we can give him our pain. He also tells us that we can take his burdens because it is easy and light. Sometimes life tries to snuff out that message. But I want you to remember his love is never failing. He is always looking for ways to show us how much he loves and cares for us.

Take time to get alone and shut out the noise. Be still and allow God to minister to you.

I know you may have been through some tough and painful times. But there is no pain that is so deep God can't comfort you. No matter what you have gone through, your life matters. Tell God all about it, and allow him to do a complete healing work in you.

God has a great need for your life. Allow him to heal you and use you for his glory.
