The Purpose of HealingSample
What is the purpose and necessity of healing? When you get a cut on your body it doesn't ask you if you want to heal, it just does. God designed you that way. He knew that if your body didn't heal, it would suffer from all kinds of diseases and infections. Just like your body when you have been bruised by the issues of life and there are offenses against your soul; you have to HEAL.
The difference with your inner healing is that it requires your participation. Because God gives us free will, He is not intrusive with our will. We have to invite him into the process to help us do the work. The healing process is riddled with many layers and intricacies. It may involve mending relationships, forgiveness, even of self, conversations, visits, and maybe even written letters.
There are many moving parts to healing and because you have free will, you will have to make moves and orchestrate some of them. But, by inviting God into the process, he can supernaturally intercede in ways you can’t even imagine. He can help you put the pieces of your life back together and help you facilitate the healing process.
Just Ask:
- Ask Him to lead and guide you through the process.
- Ask him to give you the words to say.
- Ask him to show you what action to take.
- Ask him for Reconciliation or Release.
Don’t be afraid to ask him for what you want.
Even though you have the power to choose. You should always want to choose his will for your life. Choose God, He sees all and knows all. He has your best interest at heart. Even if you don't understand how something so horrible that happened to you could ever be used for good.
That is the amazingness of God. He is the same God who created the Earth from nothing, surely he can heal you of your hurt and pain. He uses the messy things of life and creates messages that can transform your life and others.
Trust him.
