Encouragement for Imperfect Fathers

DAY 6 OF 6

DON"T STOP

I'm sure you know by now that I made many mistakes as a father. But I want you to leave this plan with two things:

  1. It is never too late to be a better father. Allow God to speak into your fathering. Learn from your Heavenly Father and emulate how He fathers you. God can take any mess and make it beautiful once we are willing to let Him into the mess.
  2. God does the heavy lifting in your family's redemption story. Seriously! He takes our tiny contribution and multiplies it exponentially in our children's lives. No effort is too small. What a God!

At the time of writing this plan, my oldest son is 20, my middle daughter is 16, and my youngest son is 14. For my birthday, they gave me this card that I've shared with you in the hope that it will encourage and inspire you in your own fatherhood journey. This card is a miracle when I look back at what my kids went through (what I put them through). It is a testimony of the merciful, amazing love of Jesus for my family. He loves your family the same way. Know that He's working miracles in your family right now. God bless you.

Day 5

About this Plan

Encouragement for Imperfect Fathers

Being a good father is tough. It takes time. It takes energy. It takes dedication. Sometimes we can feel like we are failing. Sometimes we wonder if we are really making a difference. If you can relate, this plan was created specifically to encourage you, because you are making a bigger difference than you know!
