Through YouSample
DAY 4 - See A Need, Fill A Need
You never know how God will use you to fill a gap and meet the needs of others.
When Saul encountered Jesus on the road to Damascus in Acts 9, he had no idea that God was going to use him to spread the gospel around the world.
God gave Saul a new name and a new perspective — and he eventually became the first missionary who wrote the majority of the New Testament.
The Apostle Paul shared hope with people who would otherwise never get the opportunity to hear or receive it for themselves. Right now, there are people God has placed in your life that need hope and He wants to use you to reach them.
One person who continues to be faithful in spreading the news of the gospel is one of our Outreach volunteers, Steve. Through the pandemic, Steve led numerous Outreach teams, facilitating the delivery of over 100,000 meals to those in need.
He didn’t stop at serving, though. Steve is always inviting others to serve alongside him, and helping others see that God wants to do something through them as well.
Ministering to the people in our lives will look different for everybody. Whether you’re praying for a friend, checking in on a family member, or even having an encouraging conversation with a stranger, God can use your actions to advance His kingdom.
God used Paul and Steve in ways they never expected –– and He wants to exceed your expectations today.
