DAY 1 OF 7

Breathe...

Whatever challenges you are facing in this moment, take a break from thinking about it and give it to God. Think on something that you cherish and that truly brings joy to your heart. Take a walk and meditate on the Lord and His goodness. Allow Him, to calm your mind and receive freedom from overwhelming thoughts. Turn it up a notch and compliment someone or perform a random act of kindness. Then take a breath and repeat. Do not allow stress to take over and/or break you.

Life presents challenges and victories which can equally produce stressors and anxiety on both ends of the spectrum; but both are completely necessary for our growth.The good thing is, we, as believers in Him, have the advantage of truly giving our concerns and anxieties to God and we can trust Him (1st Peter 5:7).

Prayer

Lord, we thank you for the ability to know when too much is too much. Help us to not allow anxiety and stress to take over our minds and our hearts. We seek you for our comfort and trust that you have good intentions toward us and believe that you will always cover us. Thank you for a renewed mind and refreshed thinking. In Jesus' name. Amen.
