We understand that our body loses abilities over the years, it is aging, and we cannot avoid that.

When we are married, we must maintain a good appearance to show that we care for our loved ones and for ourselves. Remember your first date. On that occasion, I am sure that you took the time beforehand so that no detail was missing for that beautiful encounter. Maybe over the years, we stopped dressing up or taking proper care of our overall appearance, which was a mistake.

The passing of the years should not be synonymous with a poor appearance. Neglecting one’s appearance reflected on our marriage and, in turn, has an impact on married life. Keeping a good physical appearance shows that we love ourselves and our partners. Going out with your spouse should be a mutual pleasure because on this new date with your love, you have a new opportunity to share and enjoy each other. Therefore, it is important that we do not neglect essential details such as grooming, perfuming, and looking your best for your love, regardless of age.

In the book of Song of Songs, a romantic text, it says: "Behold, thou art fair, my love; behold, thou art beautiful; thine eyes are as doves. Behold, thou art fair, my beloved, and sweet; our bed is a bed of flowers." This is important for both of them; they complement each other because they are one, and thus maintain a lively and exciting relationship. The Song of Songs, also known as the Song of Solomon, describes how they both smelled–when a man and a woman are concerned about their personal grooming and how they dress, they are attentive to their partner to be attractive to each other.

Grooming makes a difference in how you value yourself and your partner. Both men and women instructed in knowledge know their position as children of the King. Likewise, they must adorn themselves to show love to their beloved. These gestures enrich the relationship and its permanence in the days to come.
