In some of Jesus' final recorded words, He said with confidence that He had completed the work His Father had given Him to do. How could He say that? He was about to die, the disciples were about to run for their lives, the Holy Spirit had not yet come, and the church hadn't even officially begun. Well, Jesus had a specific calling just like each of us has a specific calling. None of us can do it all, but all of us can do something. The apostle Paul reminded us that we were created for good works that have been prepared by God (see Ephesians 2:10). So how's your assignment going so far?
