DAY 11 OF 12

A Fresh Start

Even though you are banished to the ends of the earth, the LORD your God will gather you from there and bring you back again.
Deuteronomy 30:4 (NLT)

In this passage, God’s grace and mercy are amazing, far beyond what we can imagine. Even if we are walking away from Him deliberately, God desires us to return to Him and He will be ready to receive and forgive us. Sometimes, we are so stiff-necked and never learn until the world crashes around us. The pain and anxiety open up our eyes, and we begin to see the goodness of God. Are you separated from God with all the sins entangling you? No matter how far you have wandered away from God, God is ready to give you a chance to have a fresh start if only you will return to Him.

1 John 1:9, says “if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness”.

Prayer:

Thank Lord Jesus, Thy mercy never ceases and it is new every morning. Great is Thy faithfulness and great is Thy unfailing love. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.

About this Plan

Through the Bible: Deuteronomy

Deuteronomy is the final heart-pouring sermon of the dying Moses to the second generation of the Israelites, retelling the salvation history of their forefathers and the ways of life through God’s words as they enter into the Promised Land. The book ends with Moses calling readers for a decision: curse and death by disobedience or blessing and life by loving the Lord. Likewise, which will you choose?
