Rekindling Romance in Your Marriage

DAY 4 OF 7

Talking about your Sexual Intimacy

1 Corinthians 7:5 “Do not deprive each other of sexual relations, unless you both agree to refrain from sexual intimacy ofr a limited time so you can give yourselves more completely to prayer. Afterward, you should come together again (...).”

The first topic: Talk about your sexuality!

Yes, you read that right. It is essential for all couples to maintain sexual connectedness and for this to happen you must be comfortable talking about it. Sex should never become a taboo topic between spouses, on the contrary!

Your sexuality evolves over the seasons of your lives, and it is essential that you are  best friends in the world at this level too… so keep talking about it!

Talk about different positions or things you want to try, what you like, or don’t like. Places where you could escape for a weekend, a day, or for a romantic evening. Your  (green light) fantasies that you can fulfill for each other.

You can also talk about different solutions to try in order to compensate for or resolve difficulties that you may be encountering because of menopause, a physical problem, stress etc., so that this issue does not become a painful taboo between the both of you.

Sexuality was created by God to bring emotional, physical and spiritual connection between spouses. Do not let your sexual passion dim or die!

One RD a week will quickly help to revive the desire to seduce your spouse and to show them through your words and actions that you are still in love, and even more than before!
