Receive and Accept Christ and become a New Creation

This is decision time. If you admit that you are a sinner who needs the forgiveness of God offered through Christ, this is the day when you will ask Lord Jesus Christ to come into your life. You do not need a fancy masala-filled prayer; you can simply pray, “Lord, I am a sinner, please forgive me. Lord Jesus, you paid the price of my sins. I receive you as my Lord, my Savior, and my King. Come into my life.” This is all you need to say to the Lord. The most beautiful confession is confession to the Lord. If we confess that we are sinners, he will forgive us. If you say this with your mouth, from your heart, it means that you have become a new creation (Romans 10:9). 

If we say we are without sin we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. But if anyone confesses his sin, God is faithful and just and will forgive us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). 

Anyone who receives him, anyone who believes in his name, he gives them the right to become children of God (1 John 1:12)

If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old is gone and the new has come (2 Corinthians 5:17)

God created man on the 6th day. You also become a new creation on the 6th day of the devotional if you will receive Christ into your life. 

Praise the Lord for recreating us and allowing us to start the new life. This experience is what is called being born-again. You are reborn spiritually. 

Remember, being a new creation in Christ is not a difficult thing because he has done everything for us on the cross. No works, no merits, no good things you ever did qualify you to become a child of God; you are saved by grace through Christ, and this is a gift from God, not our works so that no one can boast (Ephesians 2:8). Nothing can replace what Lord Jesus did on the cross. Believe what he did for you, and you are saved absolutely. 

Prayer: Lord, I am a sinner; please forgive me. Lord Jesus, you paid the price of my sins. I receive you as my Lord, my Savior, and my King. Come into my life. I belong to you forever. Please guide me, lead me in your righteousness, mercy, and grace. In Jesus’s name I pray. Amen.
