It All Counts

DAY 4 OF 6

Your Condition Does Not Limit Your Reach

I would like to ask you what your current condition is. Your answer might be that you are unemployed, in the middle of a divorce or in a community with limited resources. So, are you going to let that condition limit your reach?

We see Paul chained once again, physically limited, in a painful environment. But he doesn't let that limit him; instead he decides to use that time to write letters to the Ephesians, the Philippians and the Colossians.

Are you a prisoner of your pain or a prisoner of Christ?

When you understand that your life is not about you, your condition won't be able to limit your reach. You live for a purpose that's much bigger than the situation you have before you. It is not about what surrounds us. Joseph was a slave, a falsely accused prisoner and even in that condition he had an attitude that said, "It all counts". Paul, being chained and limited, reminds the Philippians and us that the condition he is going through contributes to the gospel.

Are you allowing your condition to limit your reach? I want to tell you that God has a purpose for your life. He wants to use you to make a difference. Are you going to let the pain, the deception you've lived or your zip code stop or limit your faith?

If God used a slave, a prisoner, a drug addict, a divorced man, a prostitute, a tax collector and a killer, your biggest pain can be tranformed into your biggest platform.

It all counts. The condition you're living in can propel you to the purpose that God has for your life. Focus your eyes on the right perspective so that you can see how the Creator of the world organizes the pieces that position you in the right place and time of your purpose.
