It All Counts

DAY 3 OF 6

What is Your Perspective?

Today's passage is fascinating because they are words written by the apostle Paul from jail. I don't know about you but every time I read Paul's letters, it feels like I want to receive Jesus in my life again, because they take my faith to another level.

Paul is in chains, many would say even limited or stuck. He has every reason to be depressed, to be lying on the ground, surrendered to the situation. He could have a victim attitude. He went from planting churches to being deprived of his freedom.

However, Paul says to the Philippians: "all I'm living now is worth it". This shows us an attitude that pushes him instead of limiting him, encouraging the others with an unquestionable faith.

His attitude will serve as an example if someday depression knocks on our door, if sickness comes to our body or if a crisis wants to steal our faith. When the hard circumstances in life want to come for us, we need to be prepared to face them.

Let's not blame the enemy. Stop glorifying him. He can't do anything to limit us. The way we face whatever comes at us will either limit or draw us closer to what God has prepared for us.

What's your perspective? I encourage you to take responsibility over your life and to change the way you see things.
