CHAT-A-BOX Pt 7. Heaven and Earth

DAY 3 OF 5

CONVERSATION STARTERS

Q1)  What do you think heaven is like?

Q2)  Why do you think heaven is mentioned in so many songs, shows, and movies?

What does the Bible say about heaven?

  • There is joy in heaven!

In the same way, there is more joy in heaven over one lost sinner who repents and returns to God than over ninety-nine others who are righteous and haven’t strayed away! (Luke 15:7)

  • There is no death, sorrow or pain in heaven.

“He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.” (Revelation 21:4)

  • Because God is so amazing, there is lots of worship in heaven.

And all the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living beings. And they fell before the throne with their faces to
the ground and worshiped God. They sang, “Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and strength belong to our God forever and ever! Amen.” (Revelation 7:11-12)

  • Jesus prepares a place in heaven for everyone who trusts in him.

“Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me. There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am.” (John 14:1-3)
