Part Six - Unshakable Faith
We have been learning all about how a strong faith can lead us to see the impossible and miracles happen in the lives of those around us! Today we are learning about having unstoppable faith. When we are driven by the knowledge that God is a God of the impossible we can look to Him and know the authority that we have to see the impossible happen. Through everything that happens to us, He is always good!
In Luke 8:40-56, a man named Jarius came to Jesus and asked Him to heal his daughter. Jesus started to make His way to Jarius’ house but on His way, as a crowd formed around Jesus, a woman reached out and touched His coat. She had been so desperate to get to Jesus; She had been sick for 12 years and the doctors could not heal her but she believed that Jesus could. As soon as she touched His coat, she was healed! Jesus turned to her and said “Dear woman, you are healed because you believed. Go in peace.” She had so much faith that Jesus would heal her that nothing would stop her from getting to Him. She had unstoppable faith!
Some religious leaders came to Jarius and told him that his daughter had died but Jesus said to him “Don’t be afraid. Just believe, and your daughter will be well.” Jesus asked for him to have an unstoppable and strong faith to believe for the impossible! He went to Jarius’ house, took his daughter by the hand and she stood up! Everyone was amazed! They had had the great and unstoppable faith that Jesus would fulfill His promises, and He did!
