The Whisper of God: An Invitation to the Secret PlaceSample

 The Secret Place 

The Whisper of God is an invitation to the secret place. He gently whispers, so we lean in close. When we look at the life of Jesus, His every decision and movement hinged upon His union with the Father. The greatest depth of union can only be formed through daily communing and meeting with the Lord. The key to knowing and hearing God’s voice is by slipping away to be with Him. It’s in these moments that we come to know His voice.

It’s time to lay down the fast-food versions of the Gospel that are all about what we want, how we want it, and when we want it. Jesus is King! He is the Bread of Life, the Living Water, and in Him is all that we could ever need! It’s our honor to enter into His presence. Our lives are not our own, for we have been bought with a price. We have been claimed and adopted as sons and daughters by the precious blood of Jesus Christ.

Our original intent is perfect, undefiled communion with God! Walking with the Lord face-to-face is our present-day reality because Jesus’ blood reconciled and restored us into friendship. The Lord is speaking. Are we listening? It’s time to remove the distractions and 21st-century idols. Let’s tune our hearts to the sound of our Father’s voice, and follow Him as He leads us into His destiny!
