Fear God And Keep His Commandments

DAY 1 OF 3

Fear God And Keep His Commandments.

“Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.” Ecclesiastes‬ ‭12:13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

According to Strong’s Concordance, the Hebrew word for “Keep” is, ‘shamar’ (H8104) which means, “To guard, observe, or to give heed.” Choose to guard the Word of God with all of your heart. Choose to trust Him. Choose to give heed to His Commandments. In every aspect of your life, choose to fear and reverence God.

Ecclesiastes‬ ‭12:13‬ ‭AMPC‬‬ declares, “All has been heard; the end of the matter is: Fear God [revere and worship Him, knowing that He is] and keep His commandments, for this is the whole of man [the full, original purpose of his creation, the object of God's providence, the root of character, the foundation of all happiness, the adjustment to all inharmonious circumstances and conditions under the sun] and the whole [duty] for every man.” Your duty is to worship God. Keep His Commandments by obeying His Voice.

When you surrender to Christ, your obedience is an act of worship. When you surrender your ways to God, it’s an act of honor. When you surrender your heart to God, it is a sign of reverence. Choose to lay your flesh down before Christ. Let God lead your path. Let Christ direct your course.

You will find your purpose when you worship. You were created to worship God. When you worship Him, everything else fades away. When you are in His Presence — nothing else matters. When you exalt God and magnify Him above all of your cares, concerns, worries and fears — He will lead and light your path. For He is not the Author of chaos or confusion — He is the Lord of instruction, direction and life. Let God lead your life through His Word. He will direct your path, if you trust Him. Choose to trust God.
