Have you or a parent ever been stuck on the side of the road with car trouble, waiting for help to come? 

Asking for help and having to wait can be a frustrating situation to be in. In those moments though, it’s important to remember that just because we don’t see the help right away doesn’t mean it’s not on the way. Sometimes it takes time for help to arrive. Sometimes it’s best for the situation that we wait. And sometimes God is trying to teach us something by waiting. Whatever the case may be, through it all, God can be trusted. 

How do you typically respond when you ask for help and it doesn’t come immediately? Today, ask a close friend or your small group leader if they’ve ever been in a situation where they felt like they were waiting for God’s help.
