The Mindset Of A Dreamer

DAY 2 OF 3

Today I want you to spend time doing a personal audit and exploring God's Word.

Personal Questions

1. What are some of your thoughts that are limiting you from pursuing your dream?

2. How do these thoughts compare to Scripture? Look up Ephesians 4:13. In what way do your thoughts contradict this passage?

3. Commit to spend several minutes a day for the next 30 days reflecting on and reciting from memory the following passages of Scripture (ESV):

a. Matthew 21:22 “And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.”

b. Hebrews 11:6 “And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.

c. Mark 11:22-24 “And Jesus answered them, “Have faith in God. Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

There are certain Universal Stages in a Dream Quest. In tomorrow's reading, I want to show you the foundational stages of destiny, purpose and location. And it may start in a place you might be surprised at – your very own skills. But first:

1. Everyone has a sense of destiny…yes, you have a sense of destiny. You have been born with it. Your sense of destiny is your awareness that you are here on earth for something significant. You exist beyond the borders of selfishness and beyond your own little world; you are here to fulfill a vast greater purpose.

2. The quest of your life is to find that greater purpose—what we often call “our dream” and then to pursue it with your heart, mind, strength, and soul. To succeed at fulfilling your destiny is the greatest thing you can do. To come to the end of your life with a broad smile on your face—knowing that you completed the “race” you’ve been sent to run will bring you the greatest satisfaction.
