My King From Long Ago

Dear Father, I praise the Lord Jesus Christ that He is the majestic, glorious and mighty King from Long Ago. I exalt Him that out of His limitless, eternal power and authority, He has performed all the ancient works and ruled the heavens and the earth. I bow before the Sovereign King from Long Ago, Who is able to deliver me and all His people today and forever. He is our great King; He is our Defender; He is our Lord; He is our Savior and Deliverer. Thank You that He will never forsake us!

I pray You will immerse us in the knowledge and awe of our King From Long Ago, and give us an increasing trust in His amazing faithfulness and grace. I pray that He will release His overcoming power now to save us from all attacks, schemes, plans and temptations of the enemy of our bodies, minds and souls. And, I pray that we will be so captivated by our King that we will speak of His greatness to everyone around us, so that they will intensely desire to receive Him as their King from Long Ago too!! I pray these things in the name of the immortal King.
