Honoring Women And Children In A World At War

DAY 11 OF 32

Equality of Women & Value as Individuals

Jehovah-Nissi (the LORD our Banner), there is no one who comes to You more worthy than another. We are all in need of Your grace and Your offer of redemption—whether we are Hindu, Muslim, Jew, Catholic, Protestant, Evangelical, Charismatic, or atheist; slave or free; female or male. Break down the dividing walls so all who are in Your Church see the unity of each disciple of Jesus equally bound together on the cross.

Open the eyes of Your children to see that all believers—men, women, and children alike—have every spiritual blessing in the heavenlies in Christ. We have equal access. We are joint-heirs. May this spiritual reality of equality for women become an earthly reality in matters of guardianship of their children, legal possession of their homes, lands, and goods, especially if their husbands die.

Mighty God, raise up more courageous men and women who are willing to fight for equality of women under the law. In faith these women dwell securely in the land and houses you have provided them. Execute judgment on those who want to grab it for themselves or scorn Your given-rights to women. Your Word teaches us to care for widows. Where there are cultural practices that adversely affect widows, raise up people who are willing to execute justice.

In matters of marriage, so many young women and girls are pawns forced into marriages by their families and society for power, prestige, and/or money. Unrealistic bride prices or dowries are used as a means to gain wealth. Bring changes in these cultures so each daughter is cherished as a jewel, precious in Your sight because of who they are and not because of how they can be used. Girls worldwide will learn to walk in that profound truth with purpose and dignity.

About this Plan

Honoring Women And Children In A World At War

Tired of wringing your hands, shaking your head, or even giving up over the suffering in the world today? Our world is at war. Because millions of women and children have been tagged as disposable, forgotten, or hidden, they live under the radar. Just about anything can be done to them, and it is. However, scriptural prayer has the power to change lives in addressing issues affecting these precious ones!
