Honoring Women And Children In A World At War

DAY 1 OF 32

Introduction

The conflict began with Eve. Satan knew her God-given nature was more trusting, more nurturing, and less aggressive than Adam’s. It was no mistake that he singled her out. He would do whatever it took to mar the image of the One he hated, the One who had all the best of femininity as well as masculinity. His tactics haven’t changed over the millennia.

Half of humanity is female. If that half is not honored and appreciated with purpose and dignity as created equally before God, then abuse, perversion, and hatred of women follows. Oppression and poverty trail after, affecting all in society: men, women, children, and the unborn. No period in history, including our own, is exempt from the horrors inflicted upon women and children. The current facts and figures of individuals made in the image of God within this prayer battle plan are staggering—defined in terms of millions and billions. We can close our eyes and ears to what is happening today. But with the advent of globalization, we will find it in our own backyard soon. Some already have.

Once made aware, we want to help, to be a part of the solution. But we don’t know how. If there was only a way….There is a way. We can confidently approach the very throne of God and stand as an advocate for these distressed women and children. Jesus said if we do anything for the least of our brethren, we do it unto Him. God is the only One who knows exactly what each one needs today; He is the only One who can give help that will last. It is to our loving heavenly Father that we must go.

One day we will stand before a holy God to give an account of how we spent the time He gave us here on earth. Will we take up in the power of the Spirit the armor He has given us to fight against the rulers, powers, and world and spiritual forces of this wicked darkness? Many of the victims caught in these dark webs do not even know the name of Jesus. What a responsibility and privilege we have to pray for them!

Jesus said He was the Light of the World. He commanded us to walk as children of the Light and not hide under a basket. Our prayers for the least of these are a fragrant offering unto Him.

One candle, one prayer, in the darkness can give light.

Thousands can drive the darkness away.

Day 2

About this Plan

Honoring Women And Children In A World At War

Tired of wringing your hands, shaking your head, or even giving up over the suffering in the world today? Our world is at war. Because millions of women and children have been tagged as disposable, forgotten, or hidden, they live under the radar. Just about anything can be done to them, and it is. However, scriptural prayer has the power to change lives in addressing issues affecting these precious ones!
