Don't Stop on Six

If God is calling you to do the same thing over and over again, He may be leading you into a new purpose, greater than anything you've ever seen.

God commanded Joshua to gather his army and march around Jericho for seven straight days. Joshua knew that God already promised Jericho to His people, but he didn't tell his soldiers what the outcome would be, he only gave them marching orders.

For six days, the army did just as Joshua commanded. On the seventh day, they marched around the city in the same way they had before. But this time, as they shouted together, the walls came down.

Too many of us miss seeing the power of God first-hand because we stop short of receiving the victory He's already won for us. That doesn't have to be the case today.

Don't stop on six.

Learn to live with the expectation that God is working on your behalf, even if you can't see it yet.

Pray:

God, Thank You for Your unfailing promises. I know that You will not leave me or forsake me. Give me the faith to do what You've called me to do today, tomorrow, and the next day. I believe that Your promises will be fulfilled. Help me to follow You until that day. In Jesus' name, Amen.
