DAY 3 OF 5

Being Bold When Life’s Cold

Human insincerity is something we will be always facing in life. When gratitude shapes our heart in meekness, when we become meek remember that the world will think that we have become weak. That is not so! Because at all times, we see even when no one else sees, the power we wield through the name of Jesus! The power we wield in His will! The power we wield in leading a life of piety!

And even when we feel overwhelmed by the nerve racking betrayals, the hurt, the slamming deeds that break our wings, there are times in life, in which we need to keep ourselves reminded of the power we have together with all the angels in the Heavenly realm and thus stay bold. Not because of anything else other than the blessed assurance that our Father in Heaven is with us! Christianity is always the fight of the inner man, the fight against all evil that tries to engulf us and drown the flame of our faith. But we keep moving strong knowing that our labor in the LORD shall never be in vain (1 Corinthians 15: 58). It should encourage us to know that our LORD has won the victory over the World, and there is nothing in this whole universe that would dare to stand up against us, when we live a life in His will. Doesn’t mean we won’t fall, doesn’t mean we won’t fail, or we won’t stumble in this hard terrain… but we should be comforted to know that we will stand boldly in His love and keep seeing in an eternal perspective of the glory in store for us along with all God’s people…maybe not now but surely when He calls us Home! Therefore when life is cold, our perception that sees our Sovereign, all powerful Father is that which makes us bold.

What makes us bold in our Christian life? It’s not riches, it’s not health, and it’s not worldly power… then what? It’s our love in which we trust and obey our LORD each step of the way, in this journey! In my book UNSEEN YET SEEN, I’ve written as to how my father always used to tell me and my brothers one thing, almost every time “Children, obedience should always be unconditional, unquestioning and undelayed!” Our God is a God who loves and cares us. We will never be put in a situation where His providence would not meet us! He who holds the universe, holds every moment of our life… then why should would we not trust and obey Him? Why should we not boldly march ahead for His glory?

About this Plan

Unseen Yet Seen

In our pilgrim life here on Earth, we all are in a constant search for truth, love, wisdom and reasoning. This search finds meaning only when we search beyond the ambit of our mortal senses!  This journey is but a journey in which we learn to open our mind’s eyes,  to fix our eyes on Jesus and through Him, see an eternity outstretched before us in His abundant grace!
