21 Ways To Thrive By 45サンプル
Learn
As we age, we’re unpleasantly surprised about how little we know of life. There is still so much to learn. For women, it's sometimes difficult to settle the gray spaces of life when we’re surrounded by a world of women who look like they rock at everything. Like you, they are knee deep in piles of laundry, struggling with insecurities and trying to pursue their passions while serving their families and jobs well. It’s hard to admit when we might not be awesome at something, but at the same time admit we aren’t complete losers. We are learners. As an adult, our pride tries to entertain us assuming we’re know-it-alls. It's a lie. We’re students for life.
Rather than swinging the pendulum from left to right, feeling on top of the world or feeling like you stink at life, I propose another way. I propose we accept that we’re learning—journeying through our days, our jobs, our passions, our love lives, and motherhood with the Holy Spirit as our helper.
It’s easy to beat ourselves up when the diet doesn’t work out, when the business feels like a blunder, when anxiety or stress looms, or we can’t keep up with the needs of our families. Instead, let’s accept our season while fighting for the dreams that beat in our heart. It's contentment at its best.
The truth is you won’t be swindled out of your own life. Your life is beautiful, precious, hard, and messy. It will afford you countless lessons that lead you to live in Christ. Your soul wins when you learn from your own life.
We’re transformed and renewed by the way we think. Let's meditate on the ways and virtues of Jesus so they may be manifest in our lives. The wisdom we need to flourish in this season is hidden in Jesus.
When you can’t handle the curve balls of life, remember he is for you, he will lead you, and he loves you. May you learn to walk in his ways.
