Faith for Fertility: A Prayer DevotionalCampione

Prayer over bodies and homes
Devotional
Our God is a God who loves to turn situations around for our good and for His glory! He is a God of joy, abundance, and faithfulness. We believe in a God who brought us from death to life through the miracle of Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross. We can boldly ask Him to turn what is dry into something profoundly fruitful and life-giving. If you are seeking a pregnancy, pray over your bodies. If you are seeking a successful adoption, pray this over the rooms of your home – the physical place where an empty space will become life-filled.
Choose the appropriate prayer:
Prayer (pregnancy version)
Father God, You are the God ‘Who turned the rock into a pool of water, the flint into a fountain of waters.’ So we believe that you will make the dry places of our bodies fertile. You are the Author of Life, and all that is needed for life comes from Your hand and Your design. In Your mercy, pour out Your abundant miracles onto our bodies for healing. Amen.
Prayer (adoption version)
Father God, You are the God ‘Who turned the rock into a pool of water, the flint into a fountain of waters.’ So we believe that you will cause the empty places of our home to teem with life. You are the Author of Life, and all that is needed for life comes from Your hand and Your design. In Your mercy, pour out Your abundant mercies on our family and our home. Amen.

If you’re waiting for a child, be it through adoption, natural pregnancy, or fertility treatment, this devotional is for you. The reflections on the scriptures are short and the prayers will take one to three minutes to pray. Be encouraged to allow God to fill your heart with hope, patience, and faith as you fix your eyes on Him. I strongly encourage you to complete this devotional with your spouse.
