The Magnificence Of Christ In The PsalmsCampione
Our Dwelling Place
Dear Father, I have great joy and security that throughout all generations You have been the Dwelling Place of Your people. I love to be reminded often of the conclusion of King David’s prayer in Psalm 23: “And I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.” I am exceedingly grateful that Jesus fulfills all Your promises in the Bible, including being the Dwelling Place for all who receive Him as our Savior. I am especially strengthened and comforted by His promise in John 15:4, “Remain in me, as I also remain in you.” I desire more than anything else to always remain (live, abide or dwell) in Jesus, the Vine.
As I think of the magnitude of all Christ is, and what it means to “live and move and have our being in him” (Acts 17:28), I am engulfed in hope, peace, love and utter contentment! I pray You will put the firm conviction in me and all other believers that Peter expressed in John 6:68, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. We have come to believe and know that you are the Holy One of God.” May we live so completely in the Dwelling Place that many men, women and children we know will fervently ask “what must we do?” to join us. I pray these things in the abiding name of Jesus.

Each daily devotional has a different name or attribute of God from the Psalms that is ultimately fulfilled in Christ. You will read the Psalm with Christ's name in it, then worship Him and pray for His Lordship of your life based upon His name of the day. Hopefully, this will help you know Christ more and love Him more. All Scripture used is from the NIV Bible.
