Tendiamo a dimenticare che i personaggi della Natività erano uomini e donne come voi e me. E se fosse successo a noi? Quale sarebbe stata la nostra attitudine? Maria, Giuseppe, i pastori, Simeone, Anna e i magi: cosa ci insegna la loro storia? Vi invito a scoprire 3 lezioni dalla Natività.

Il momento più importante   nella storia mondiale fu quando Gesù, la Luce del Mondo, si fece carne per   dimorare tra di noi. Gli angeli annunciarono il Suo arrivo, furono scritte delle   poesie, i pastori accorsero e Maria cantò! Fai insieme a noi un percorso di   cinque giorni in cui esamineremo la Sua luce e come essa abbia ispirato chi   era intorno a Lui, e in che modo abbia impatto su noi ai nostri giorni.

The Christmas story is so familiar to those young and old. The manger scenes, shepherds, and wise men are all a part of a narrative that has been retold for over two thousand years. It’s easy to think it has nothing new to teach us. Yet, the word of God is living and active - it works in us in new ways every time we digest it. -Vertical Worship

Our Christmas story starts with the angel’s annunciation to Mary and concludes with the visit of the Magi. In these reflections and applications of the Christmas narrative I will mostly refer to Luke, as his is the fullest of the gospel accounts.
