Courageous Humility Pt. 1Sýnishorn
Is it possible the spiritual condition of our hearts is unhealthy, due to lack of courageously moving in faith? God knows the condition of our hearts {see Luke 16:15 & Acts 15:8}. Are we willing to pray and ask Him to reveal the condition of our hearts to us, in an effort to more courageously exercise our faith, and perhaps even pray for healing?
Be encouraged today to keep going. And if you’re not already, be encouraged to get up and take a step of faith. Scripture clearly depicts believers moving, rather than simply waiting around for His return after the beautiful moment of asking Jesus to be their Lord and Savior. DO what Jesus says through His written Word and whispers from His Spirit. SHOW your faith by good deeds { an action that is performed intentionally or consciously}; deeds inspired and driven by God’s Spirit. WORK OUT {perform, accomplish, achieve, bring about, render as fit, according to Strong’s concordance} your salvation. RUN the race He has set before us.
Prayer: Lord, You have spoken so much to our hearts on the matter of healing. Perhaps not the type of healing we may have expected, but healing no less. Thank You! Thank You for encouraging and inspiring and empowering us to seek and believe for healing in our relationships, first with You, then with those closest to us and beyond. Thank You for showing us HOW we may cooperate in healing and become a more vibrant and lively Bride. Thank You for equipping us with the ability to grow from a babe in Christ feasting on milk and perhaps only crawling or tumbling with toddler steps, to a Bride in Christ. A Bride fully upright, healthy, well, and expectant for the return of her Groom. Give us the courage to live from this posture, whether wholly healed yet or not, setting our hearts and minds on the image You have created for us, trusting You will transform us to Your heart’s desire.
Lord, thank You for being with us the past thirty days. We trust You are empowering us to live more courageously for You, as You compel us to cry out to You, enter into Your presence, and trust You are healing Your Bride, individually and collectively. God, You are SO GOOD. In the Name of Jesus Christ, we ask and believe for Your will, amen.
About this Plan
Be strong. Be Alert. Be Courageous. These words are the premise of this 30 day study where you will uncover God's desire for you to call out to Him and trust He will hear. Not only hear, but set you on sure footing, a path He sets before you, for your sake and the sake of those around you. From there you will dig into Scripture around what it means to courageously step into God's presence, how to do so, and what you can expect as a result of going into His presence. Finally, you will be encouraged to step towards the healing Christ offers, both individually, and as the collective Bride of Christ. Each day you will be encouraged to ask questions, seek answers in God and His Word, and identify the step YOU sense the Holy Spirit compelling you to take. Courage accompanies ACTION, and Christ reveals to us where to move next, while the Holy Spirit empowers us to do so!
